This is a list of the settings and location in the story Hyde Road
Hyde Road is a story based in a fictional location.
It is my intention that the reader identify with the story, and that immersion in the story is assisted by keeping the location undefined.
Please use the following guidelines to assist with this:
1. Avoid the use of metrics. i.e. units of distance and weight, these are region specific. While some of this information is given under the authors notes in the character profile this information is intended to help authors get a good image of the character in their heads, but is not intended to be used verbatim in the story text.
2. Which side of the road are your driving on. Again this is region specific, avoid stating it in the text.
3. Avoid real world landmarks and famous locations.
4. Avoid referencing anything that is hemisphere specific.
