"That's...unthinkable..." Piper put in. "We can't do that"
"Maybe not normally, but with some help...maybe." A voice said, coming from nowhere, and everywhere.
As soon as he spoke Annabeth noticed the way Percy's muscles were rippling. Leo once again admired how Calypso's hair fell down her back, and what happened to be down there, not that that mattered. Hazel quickly crushed a small thought about Frank's animal form. Jason, who was holding Piper in a hug, noticed something, well, two somethings, on his chest he hadn't before.
A god, for that's what all of them knew he was, materialized on Festus's head as the dragon sat in rest in the corner.
"I assume that most of you are feeling the affects of my presence right now." the god said. He looked faintly like Cupid, which stirred angry memories in Nico.
"Who are you?" Nico said. He seemed the least affected by the god's powers, because he had truly gotten over Percy. Reyna was also somewhat free of the curse, but even she was longingly remembering her time with Jason, and more recently, Percy.
The god looked at Nico as if he were a puzzle piece that didn't quite fit. "I am Himeros, the god of lust, as you might put it. I am here to aid you on your quest. It is true that you will have to help the gods and some other chosen ones repopulate. You see, if two powerful people, either a god and a demigod or two demigods, have a child, then their offspring has combined talents. It has been seen that in the future the Giants and Gaea, yes, mother and child, will have offspring, who will rise and try to overtake the world, and it will take all our strength to defeat them."
"But what about our current relationships?" Piper said, distressed. All the demigods looked prepared to fight the gods themselves to stay together.
"Calm down, that's part of the reason I'm here, to give gifts. First of all, I give you all the power to stay virgins until you decide against it. All intercourse in this quest can be regarded spiritually, although you'll have to physically do it, but even then with my magic you'll be physical, mental, and emotional virgins if you so choose. Secondly, no matter how powerful you may be, if you tried to have intercourse with a god, you'd die almost instantly. So, here, more power to ya'" Himeros waved and hand and the Argonauts felt a change in their...well, their lower regions.
"Finally, for you girls, I assure that none of you can get pregnant unless you so choose." All the girls blushed furiously.
"So, for your quest, I get to be your sponsor god, which is the first time that has happened. I'll be riding along in the Argo with you, and I'll tell you who you need to go to, and give you advice. While I am the god of lust, the gods will only allow me to interfere so much, so seducing your target will be up to you. So, when are we ready to go?"
After much discussing and awkwardness between the couples, the ten demigods boarded Argo II, which Leo got into the air above New York while Rachel waved goodbye.
