Dr. Dero balled up and started shaking. He stayed as quiet as he possibly could, but his whimpering sound obviously couldn't be masked. The bear approached him on two feet and suddenly, he began to speak.
"Hey. Why are you doing that?" he asks, awfully confused.
Dero just gawped at the bear in awe. "Since when did bears know how to talk?" Dero asked hesitatingly.
"I've always known how to talk."
"Is it me or is this world insane?"
"Whoa, you're going a little too far there, hum."
"Hum?"
"Yeah, you're a hum. Don't get em' in these parts too often. Are you not from here?"
Dero responded by simply shaking his head.
"Well, I can help you around the forest. Just... don't get near the creek."
