Get back to the Park's place quickly

You don't see many of the crazy infected people on the ride back to Mrs. Park's place. You hope they've moved on somewhere else as you pull into the driveway, half-expecting to find the place burning, or exploded, or something worse. Instead, you see the front window slide open just as you pull in.
You rush out of the car, bringing the empty shotgun along and sliding in through the window. Melanie shuts it behind you, and as you glance around the room, you see Mrs. Park, her arm around her son.
"Mikey?" You ask, surprised.
"He came home not long after you left," Mrs. Park says. "He had to run and hide from the things all the way back here."
You start to question it all, but shake your head on the matter. You don't want to explain the situation with the crazy Elizabeth woman. "Is he hurt?" You ask. Melanie shakes her head no.
"We checked him," she says. "He's not hurt, and he's not infected." She glances around, and you do too, trying to get a feel for the situation. Mrs. Park looks better, and Mikey looks happy to be home. Mrs. Park's daughter Claire stands at the top of the stairs, watching it all take place, and she's smiling softly as well. You've done a good thing, even if you didn't actually bring Mikey home. You feel proud to have taken the risk.
"Well," Melanie says. "What do we do now?"
