The party is winding down, and people are starting to leave. Bill is the first to leave, nodding to you politely as he does. Lily gives you a thumbs up and follows him out.
Florence gets up and heads for the door, stops and looks your way, hesitates again, then walks meekly to you. "Uh, Ron, maybe we could, uh, get lunch tomorrow?"
"Sure!", you reply. "What time?"
She smiles. "I can meet you in the lobby around noon."
"It's a plan," you say. The rabbit gives you a thumbs-up and heads out.
Shelly stands up and stretches. "Think I'm gonna head out too. Congratulations on getting past the front desk, Ron."
You nod to the skunk. "Thanks. Have a good evening."
She grimaces slightly. "Eh, always takes me an hour to get all this makeup shit out. Only real thing I don't like about this job. But it's worth it." She walks up to you and grabs the top of your shirt, gently but firmly pulling you down to eye level with her. "Maybe next time I see you, I'll show you the ropes." She grins and adds. "Literally, if that's your thing." Cheval snorts nearby, prompting Shelly to let you go. She turns and flicks her tail your way, saying "See ya round" before strutting out to the hall.
This leaves you with just Valerie and Cheval. You scratch the back of your head awkwardly. "Welp, guess we're kinda done here, huh? Can one of you give me a ride home?"
Valerie perks up. "I can give you a ride, no problem!"
Cheval says, "I could do it too, if you like riding in a pickup truck."
Wow, offers for rides from both of them! Now you have to choose.
