Find A Flashlight.

From Create Your Own Story

You rifle through multitudes of drawers around the apartment, trying to find that small black mag-lite you know you must still have somewhere. The one someone at work bought you for that white-elephant Christmas part. Finally, you find it at the bottom of the junk drawer, but the batteries are dead. You toss them in the trash and go around scrounging for replacements. You find nearly half a dozen different batteries as you feel around in the dark, but none of them have any juice left. You start to wonder why you have so many dead batteries, but then you hear that woman cackling next door, and then you hear a light thumping sound. It seems interspersed. A laugh. A thump. A laugh. A thump.
