Cate looks up to the sky. "You are right; a bonfire should be our main objective," she says. "Looks like it might rain, and it's going to cool down, even here. If we don't have fire, we're screwed. Low temperatures and wet clothes, we're going to suffer from hypothermia in no time."
"Won't the fire go out in the rain?"
"We'll place it over there." Cate points to a large rock. The rock is about ten feet high and has a small overhang, not wide enough for you to lie under, but probably enough to shield your fire (unless there is unfavorable wind). "I - ouch."
"What's up, Cate?"
"Just my boobs."
"What do you - oh, right. You are still breastfeeding."
"Yes."
"Does it hurt bad?"
"No, just a little. Usually the milk is just flowing out on itself; how often I had to change shirts... Anyway. The few occasions I have galactostasis, I just have to stroke the milk out until the blockage is cleared. And luckily I don't have any of the other symptoms that come so often with it."
"Imagine you had complications out here in the wild..."
"I'd rather not. Listen, why don't you gather wood while I take care of this" - she points to her chest "and when I am done, I'll collect stones and dig a hole as a fire pit."
"Okay."
"We need branches and twigs. And most importantly - find something we can use as tinder, or we won't be able to start the fire."
"Okay." You turn round and head towards the surrouding trees. What do you collect first?
