Regardless of why Kirsten set up the bet, you intended to do everything to win it. The stakes were too good to be true; a coupon to make Kirsten anything you would desire. You imagined a lot of things you'd make Kirsten do, one crazier than the next. You had better not, though; counting your eggs before they were in the pudding turned out to be a too big distraction. Kirsten ambushed you at the fridge when you fetched a can of soda. She had the better position and the upper hand. No matter how hard you tried, you couldn't escape her headlock. Finally, you surrendered, forfeiting the bet. You talked to the guy, somehow talked him into ditching his girlfriend for a NBA game and never got another opportunity to make a bet like this one again.
Finally, the lodge comes in sight.
