Downfall/Lay still until the pain subsides

From Create Your Own Story

A sharp pain wavers through your skull that subdues any desire to move. You lay motionless on the ground until the pain is reduced to a dull throbbing. In the meantime, Kirsten heatedly argues with Julianne. Julianne rebukes your sister for smashing you against the door while Kirsten defends her action.

"How can you take the side of that peeping Tom, mum? That bastard deserves what he got, let me tell you."

This goes on for a while until you can hear Debra say: "I think he's bleeding, mum." From the sound of her voice you take it that she sides with Kirsten, but she is too nice a person to ignore your injury.

"Enough now, Kirsten. Will, are you all right? Can you stand up? Debbie, get cold water and a washcloth."

You slowly get on your feet. You don't faint, and after the swindle subsides, you tumble towards your room. To your surprise, Julianne supports you and directs you to the bed. You carefully lie down. Julianne kneels next to you and tends to the cut on your forehead. The cold washcloth does you good.

For the first time you notice that Julianne is wrapped in a towel. She must have hurried out of the bathroom to see what the ruckus was. One of her legs is bent on the bed while the other supports her on the ground. The towel gapes when Julianne reaches for the washcloth. Involuntarily your eyes flicker when her thighs are revealed way up to almost her crotch. You look away quickly, but Julianne nonetheless noticed.

"Now, why did you look through the keyhole?" she asks, and the warmth in her voice when she inquired if you were well disappeared. "I expect an answer, Will."
