Downfall/Hotel 13

From Create Your Own Story

You enter the hotel. Julianne checks you in and collects the keys to your rooms on the top floor, at the end of the hallway. Both rooms are situated opposite. Kirsten asks Julianne to share one room with you; that leaves Will to share the room with your mum. Kirsten unlocks the door. There is a double bed, centered at the east wall, with nightstands on each side. There are windows to the south and west. The roof terrace to the west is accessible via glass sliding doors. Next to the entrance door stands a large wardrobe and a dresser with a large mirror. You open the terrace doors. Besides an ensemble of a table and four chairs, two sunbeds and a beach umbrella are situated on the open space. A privacy shield divides the terrace from the opposite side that belongs to your mother's room. A decorative grating runs around the building beneath the railing.

After unpacking, you go down to the dining hall to eat dinner. You help yourself from the buffet with local foods and exotic fruits. Back up in your room, you suggest enjoying the last rays of sun. Kirsten shakes her head. "I am tired," she says. "I'm gonna get a shower and then go to bed."

You take seat on a chair, legs on the table. Your store is high enough to receive sun for another hour before the sun disappears behind a small chain of hills. Finally, you decide call it night. You go back into the main room. Kirsten already lies asleep in her side of the double bed. Careful not to disturb her, you get fresh underwear and a tank top for nightwear from the closet. You enter the bathroom and do your bedtime routine. When this is done, you get in the shower and rinse off the dirt and sweat of the day. You put on your nightwear and get out of the bathroom. You notice a slight movement of the curtains. Maybe a wind will come up and cool down the night. With a sigh, you slip under the light blanket and fall asleep.
