"I'll be right back," Cate says. You think she decided to make a move on the blonde after all, but she only goes to the restroom. When she returns, she doesn't sit down.
"Hi," she says. "I'm Cate. I like your dress. My sister has the same one, but it looks better on you."
"What?"
"I'm Cate. What's your name. Is that seat taken?" She points to her seat.
"Stop that, Cate. You are creeping me out."
She shakes her head. "Geez, Jules, why can't you play along?" She sits down, obviously angered.
"What was that about?"
"Can't you imagine? I need more practice. I am out of the game forever."
"Could't you have given me an advance warning?"
"Oh, what use would it have if you were prepared. A little help would have been nice."
"Well, sorry, but you were-"
"Creeping you out, I know. Let's not talk about it any longer. I feel the need for another drink." She orders another round. She must feel even more awkward than you do, so instead of chatting, you both just keep on drinking until it is time to go to bed.
