"Maybe she likes a more direct approach," Cate says when you return to your table.
"I don't know," you answer.
"Well, only one way to find out."
"You are married, remember?"
"Don't change the subject, Jules."
"No, you don't change the subject."
"Don't be a buzzkill, Jules. I am married, not dead. Look, I know that you are sensitive regarding the matter of marital faithfulness, but so am I. I have an arrangement with Brian, all right? I wouldn't do something behind his back, you hear?"
"Fine then, do what you need to do. Just let me out of this."
"For now." Cate stands up and approaches the bar. She leans against the counter and asks the barkeeper: "I like you shirt. Does it also come in off?"
The smile on the barkeeper's face disappears. Understandably; that was a bit too direct. The barkeeper asks Cate to leave the bar. Your sister turns away with a terrible look on her face. You signal her to wait outside while you take the cheque and give the barkeeper a generous tip.
To cheer Cate up, you convince her to go to another bar to drink the embarrassment away. Later, much later, you drunkenly weave back to your cabin.
