Given the temperatures, the lake does sound like a great idea, and maybe there'll be some nice girls to get acquainted with. You tell your mom you'll join her. While she's preparing a meal, you fetch towels, sun lotion and other beach-designed stuff and pack it in a bag. Now all you need is your swimming trunks. Your trusted trunks are a seasoned veteran and the elastics a bit worn, but they never let you down.
