Dine at Novak's house

You rise from the bench, Novak's hand in yours. "At your house."
Novak walks you there. It's only a few blocks.
His mother, a tall, slim woman, greets you both as you walk in. Her name is Dijana. You introduce yourself. Her husband, Marko -- a tall, muscular, smiling bear of a man -- gives you a grin.
"Thank you for befriending my son," he tells you. "It is difficult, when you are new, to make friends."
"He's very nice," you reply. You and Novak finish your homework and studying while Dijana prepares a traditional Serbian dinner. You find it quite appetizing and say so. Dijana smiles. "It is nice to have my food appreciated by a guest."
