Raised by a doting mother and a proud father, you quickly grew into a spoiled prince. You were given anything and everything you wanted from birth. As a result of this, your behavior caused your siblings to grow to hate you. That didn't matter to you though. You were the first born, and the opinions of your lower siblings meant nothing to you.
However, your parents began to notice your behavior and at age 14 you were sent off to be trained as a knight to be taught some humility and leadership skills. Unfortunately, the drill instructors practically licked your boots because of your status, and the only thing you learned over those 9 years was how to kill a man with no remorse.
After being released from your training, you believed that you were fully ready to take the throne. Unfortunately for you however, your father saw what you had become and refused to hand over the crown. So, you did the only thing you could do; you challenged him to a dual.
Your poor elderly father stood no chance, and was killed in the first blow. Your mother, horrified by your actions, committed suicide a day later.
