D&D: Begin The Red Lions' story
From Create Your Own Story
Leon woke up and stared at the celing. He was getting used to sleepin in bed instead of on the ground but there was still something nice about being able to see the stars when he slept. Right now it was just at the crack of dawn and he needed to get up to check the Tavern's bulletin board for quests. Since this town had lots of adventures they made a bulletin board full of job requests from people in town and the surrounding area. Leon wanted the first picks of whatever new requests where there. He quickly got dressed and left his room and found the bulletin board had yet to be updated by the owner of the Tavern. When the owner appeared she smiled to him and said.
"Well if it isn't my favorite customer! Come to see what jobs we got in today?"
Leon didn't respond and just glared at her as she already knew the anwser to that question. The owner ignored the glare and walked over to the board and started to pin papers to the board. She continued chatting but Leon zoned her out until he heard she said something that drew his attention back to her.
"You know. Barras came in yesterday. He started chatting up the loveliest girl."
Leon winced a bit. Unknown to him the owner noticed this and she smiled as she finished pinning the last request on the board.
"Yeah. He got shot down when the lass said she had a boyfriend."
Leon sighed and the Owner stepped back away from the board.
"Well. Looks like my work here is done."
She walked away from the board and Leon went over to look at the new quests. Most of them were the same old fight off Bandits and the like except for three that stood out to Leon.
The first was a request to save a woman who was kidnapped from a nearby town. Most of the time bandit groups just killed and raided but kidnapping ment These bandits were a bit more organized. Next was a request to kill a dragon in a nearby hot springs. Dragons enjoy volcanic activity and hot springs have a lot of that. If you can beat the dragon the team could even relax a bit in the springs. Finally there are reports of pirates sailing in the seas nearby. Leon looked over all three again and grabbed.
