The cosplay convention is coming up, an event you anxiously waited for since this is the first time you will ever go to one. So when you found that item on Ebay that offered a "Costume of a lifetime", you knew you had to get it. The bidding war for this one item was difficult, but eventually your efforts to one-up your opponents pays off in the end.
One day after coming back from work, you find an odd box sitting near your front door. It is a large cardboard box that looks like it's been through hell. Picking it up, you find out it is the "Costume of a lifetime". Excitedly, you run inside your house, into your room, and began to open the box. Once inside it, you find an object too excessively wrapped, along with an odd message:
“Caution: Once you put on the facade, there’s no going back. You become what you wear”
Well, that's weird. Aside from the totally-not-disturbing-and-creepy message, you decide to check out the wrapped object.
