Startled, she stumble out of her bed and look around confused. The decor is familiar but it takes her several second to process where she is. Wasn't she sleeping in her new restaurant's penthouse ? Look around, she remembers the clock. Timed for her first job at the café.
Rubbing her head, she looks around. Was it all a dream ? It couldn't be. Everything felt so real. As she gets dressed grogily, trying to understand what was going on, she look over at a newspaper and check the date and is shocked to see headlines. "Another great Mardi Gras. Big Daddy Leboeuf crowned king for another year."
Things start making less sense when her alarm suddenly bring her out of her shock. She had set it for anti-snooze so she wouldn't be late. A strange sense of urgency brings her back down to earth. She didn't know what was going on except that she was getting late for work. A strange headache suddenly strikes her and she turns the clock off for good this time.
