Corruption of Princesses/Elsa and Anna : First day : She reaches the merchants in time and invite them to stay

From Create Your Own Story

Elsa runs down the corridor after the merchants. She knows the castle by heart and it dosn't take much time to catch up to them. Not that it would matter, she could just follow the trail of curses and the look of embarassement in the hallway guards. She curses herself for those high heels making her task harder.

"Wait !" she cries out to the merchants.

The two are in the process of descending the main staircases before stopping their track and turning around.

"What is it now ?"

Elsa pants lightly. She is really out of shape. She catches her breath and descend a few stairs before regaining her composure.

"I am deeply sorry for my outburst. It was shameful to my royal line. I would like to make things right and properly this time. If you both agree, I would offer you to stay in a suite and discuss the matters to both of you in turn privately. And hopefully finds a solution to your grieveance."

She sigh interiorly. She didn't know she could make a statement like this out of breath without it being apparent. The two merchants ponders for a moment. They still look pretty angry but Eirick speaks up "Very well. But I will not suffer another insult your highness."

"Of course." Elsa bows her head. Right now she can't afford to rouse their anger more.

"Very well. If you think that is for the best..." Helas adds. She can tell by his tone that he is not hopeful for a happy ending to this day but is willing to give her a chance. She sigh in relief. This just bought her a bit of time. She instructs some of her households to accompany the merchants into two of the best suites of the castle and then retreat to the chambers. Allright... you got them to stay... now how are you gonna fix their problem ?

Elsa ponders long and hard, walking in circle in front of the fireplace of the talk chambers. As time runs out, she decides to show a brave face and heads towards the guests halls. Luckily, the rooms are pretty far apart so she won't risk them interacting with one another again as long as they stay in their room.
