Corruption of Princesses/Elsa and Anna : First day : Meets with a concerned citizen

A citizen in commoner clothes walks in. He seems hesitant and finds no comfort in the stoic guards. He steps in and see the princess and gulp.
"No need to be nervous. Come." Elsa invites him to sit in front of her as she sits before him. He seems intimidated by her presence and immedietly remembers to bow, doing so awkwardly as he sits.
"Y-Your highness..."
"Come now. Feel free to talk as you will." she reassure him. "What is the matter ?"
"I know I shouldn't be bothering you with this your highness but... I am worried about one of my friend. His name is Morand."
Elsa raise an eyebrow and wonder what kind of concerns could be worth of her attention.
"He lives in the higher land my lady. He owns... well owned a farm."
He seems to seek his word and Elsa patiently awaits him to continue.
"He lost everything in the frost that happened... sometime ago." he adds as if he didn't want to raise the question that it was her fault. Elsa's heart make a weird twist.
"But.. I thought I reversed all the damage..." she says, losing her composure.
"Some of it made permanent damage. Morand has not been himself since. His wife and kids left for the south. He's grown bitter and blames you... There is words that a group of people in similar cases as Morand are grouping up. I... I know you tried to do right. That's why I wanted to tell you."
Elsa sits in ponder. Inside, her guilt is wrestling with her conscience. She's heard of a group from her military caucus. The captain reported rumors of such a group who blames her and the royal family for the events. So far they've only gotten so far as petty vandalism and drunken disruption of order. After her glorious returns, she never thought she would have the beginning of a small rebellion on her hand. Somewhat justified in their action.
The commoner, believing her silence to be a sign to continue does so. "I know Morand. He's not a bad person.. just in a bad pass. He won't come in town. And it might be better but..."
"Speak no more." Elsa stands. looking at the commoner. He looks up at her. "I will see what I can do. It does not matter if it is a single man. I will do what I can to make things right." She adds with a confident voice.
The commoner looks a bit stunned and mumble something in admiration. She dismiss him and tell him everything will be allright. Elsa waits for him to leave before canceling her other meeting.
