"What?" Beck reacts to your proposal, astonished. "Tori, you're my friend, and I'm dating Jade...."
"Yeah, but she's a bitch," you retort. "If you were with me, I would treat you right. I'd actually appreciate you."
"Tori..." Beck says, defeated. You know you've just struck the biggest chord.
"Just think about it, okay?" you plead.
"Jade's here," Beck says, urgently. "I've got to go." You hear Jade screaming at Beck, briefly, and then CLICK. Beck's hung up.
