You wipe your tear away, and you get the world map in front of you, and via your map you teleport to Kirito's room together with Dawn.
Teleporting... failed
- You: Dawn, where are you?

Since you got a message that the teleportation has failed, you assume that you got into an area that would function as an Offline Limbo. Kirito did mention that the Urban District was broken.
