Sending only a servant isn't a good sign and certainly leaves an impression on your already suspicious mind; disrespect is a sign of hostility. You feel no need in treating the Hellstroms with anything more courteous and to the servants surprise you order him to show you to your quarters. He complies with slight hesitation, guiding you through the darkened corridors of the fortress to your habitations.
It feels like being in the court of some great enemy; the walls are lined with trinkets of war and dark history. Looming paintings of dark magicians, Satanists, murderers; many faces that your own father faced in his battle against evil. Little good has come of this family in its past, and nothing here seems to point to any changes in the near future.
You climb to the top of one of the parapets when the servant shows you into a secluded but luxurious chamber. The room is lush and warm, with many rich amenities that seemed more barren in the rest of the castle. Your trunks sit in neat piles in one corner and a beautiful velvet bed beckons to your aching bones.
