"I know we've been over this, but what chance of surviving this do you think Melanie has?" You ask. Cassandra frowns.
"If I'm being honest, she's lost too much blood, and we also have to worry about whatever is causing the craziness out there. If it's some sort of infectious disease, or viral, she could have it. If she does, she might start going crazy." She shrugs. "Either way, things aren't looking great for her."
