Approach the left cylinder

You approach the cylinder with the woman inside it. She’s a pretty redhead with her hair in a ponytail. She has a flat chest that her white t-shirt hangs on her like it would on a boy. Her blue jeans hug curved hips that look quite feminine, though. She hammers her fist against the inside of the cylinder, but you hear no sound.
The dial mounted on the pedestal in front of the cylinder is labeled A through F. The dial is currently turned all the ways to the left, to A.
Do you:
- Approach the right cylinder
- Try to break open the cylinder
- Examine the things on the table
- Turn the dial to B
