It's hard to pin down what exactly you are. A feline face stares back at you, the complex pattern of your fur also branding you as something mostly cat-like, as does your sleek muscle and retractably-clawed paws. But...that's where the similarities end. Your legs end in sturdy cloven hooves, and your tail is thick and scaled - and you've been getting odd looks ever since your horns started coming in while you were in middle school. You're no patchwork experiment, and all the pieces blend together, natural as can be.
Your hooves clop against the floor as you stretch and stand to your full height, still eying your reflection in the mirror. You're tall - quite tall, over six and a half feet - and solidly, sleekly built, like a hunting cat. You appear to be no older than your mid-20's, and while visible age can get muddled with your species as well, you know for a fact you're right around there.
Chimera like yourself are a rare breed, but not unheard of. Not as famous as dragons, but with a history steeped in lore and magic, and widely misunderstood.
