The week passes and before long Senator Mothma is leaving for her homeworld of Chandrila. You watch from the bridge of your ship the Slave I as she boards the transport, waving goodbye to friends and associates. You smile; this is the last time she will ever see them.

As the transport lifts off you power up the engine and slink along the sky lines until they exit the atmosphere. Like most non-military vessels they have to move well beyond the atmo to jump into hyperspace, letting you follow at a bit of a distance. As they and you pass the last of the armed satellites protecting the planet you realize you have an opportunity to take out the Senator here and now. Her ship has little protection and no escort; not expecting to meet attack on this trip. You finger the missile trigger casually...
