"Another dream keeping you awake?" Master Kenobi asks.

You quickly think how to best approach your objective: "Yes, Master. Another dream about my mother. I sense a certain unease coming from the Force. I’m… feeling quite restless, I'll be awake for many hours still."

"There are many events in motion, affecting the Force. The fate of many lives lies in the outcome of these few Council meetings. Senator Amidala is also a major part of that outcome. It is only natural that our proximity to these events and individuals allows us to feel the ripples through the Force. Especially to someone with a sensitivity as high as yourself, Anakin."

You breathe in heavily. A thought crosses your mind, the opportunity you were looking for.

"Yes, Master. And I very much need to meditate on these feelings, calm my senses. Why don't you go rest, for now, Master? I'll stand by and keep vigilant. I can feel everything that goes in her room, she will be safe."

Obi-Wan looks at you with a curious look, and after thinking for a moment, he answers you.

"Very well, Anakin, I'll leave you to your thoughts. I'll be in the adjacent chamber." He then slowly moves to walk away. As he reaches the door, he looks back to you. "Anakin, don't let these thoughts hinder your duty. Your first commitment is to the Senator."

"I won't, Master." And with this, he leaves the room, leaving you by yourself.

"I'm a very committed Jedi," you think, as you look back to Padmé’s bedchamber door.

Now that you are alone, and you've granted yourself the time you need, you can focus on how to best reach her.

Padmé's reaction towards you have been somewhat mixed. She has fondness for you, you have felt it, but your direct flirts have been taken with some abrasiveness. Come to think of it, she's been much more prone to them when you two where secluded. Your directness have made her uncomfortable in the past, however.

Letting your sensations flow through to her room, you visualize everything within. R2-D2 is sitting at the side of her bed, lights shut down. Padmé is laid down on her bed, eyes still open. You can sense unease coming from her thoughts, but she is about to drift into sleep.

You ponder your best move.

• You believe she will be more responsive to your direct approaches now that you are alone. Enter the room now and talk to Padmé while she is still awake.
• You and Padmé belong together, you can feel this in your core. But she needs some help in breaking down her barriers... and this needs to be done indirectly. Wait until Padmé is asleep before entering her bedroom.
