You get to the bridge and it's pitch dark and still pouring rain. You also really tired from all the walking and are starting to get hungry.

This all is way too much. You figure it's best to get out of the city as fast as possible.

You start to walk across the bridge, not bothering to use the pedestrian pathway. Suddenly you see a car coming down the bridge.

You have no ride, so you begin to walk.

It's starting to drizzle lightly as block after block passes by. About a half an hour later you reach Hudson River Park (which is on the west side of Manhattan, and consists of the shoreline and a bunch of piers; there are tunnels out of the west side of Manhattan, the George Washington Bridge far uptown, and bridges out of the east and north side of the island), and it begins to downpour.

This all is way too much. You figure it's best to get out of the city as fast as possible.
