You fire several clumsy shots with your science pistol. Zone gives you a "what-the-fuck" look and begins firing as well. Dust and debris flare up from the tunnel as a squad of space pirates emerge from the tunnel firing their pulse rifles. There is barely a moment to react as hot plasma fills the air.
