"Hey there," you begin with a smile, sidling up to the red head. "You come here often?"
She turns, eyebrows going up.
"Sorry, that came out cheesy," you explain with a laugh. "I come here almost every weekend to relax. And I was just wondering if you were a newbie or not."
"First time," she replies with a smile, and her voice has an Irish lilt to it. Because of course it does, you think, and your knees go a little weak. "But I'm not new to hiking," she adds, glancing up and down at your somewhat impractical outfit, her gaze then landing briefly on your shoes "So I'd be glad to help you out if you need it. The name's Shannon."
With the full weight of her gaze on you (hazel eyes, of course, and a dash of freckles across her cheeks), you feel the need to explain. "I had a slight mishap on the way. But if you don't mind the company..."
"Not at all," Shannon smiles, turning to the trail. She glances back at you and smiles. "You might want to check your top. Before the mosquitos find you."
Looking down, you see the tube top has indeed slipped, and a nipple is showing. You feign surprise, and readjust your top in a more conventional fashion. 'For now,' you think to yourself, watching your new companion start down the path.
