Trip and fall into Shannon

With a flailing of your arms you trip and stumble forward headlong into Shannon. She lets out a cry and tumbles into the underbrush with you on top of her. Neither of you are injured, though your cheeks are bright red.
"Sorry!" you gasp, pushing off her and sitting, "Are you okay?"
She runs a hand through her hair, pulls out a twig. "Fine, just fine," she replies, "Although, is this some kind of rom-com? Klutzy gorgeous woman tripping and knocking over the bombshell redhead so they land together in a heap?"
Though there's a brief sting at the word "klutzy", the rest of Shannon's inquiry makes your heart skip a beat. "I didn't mean it," you reply, reaching out a hand to her, "...but I certainly didn't mind falling into the bombshell redhead."
Shannon takes your hand, and you pull her to her feet. She keeps hold of your hand for a moment too long, and her hazel eyes are searching yours, like she's trying to come to a decision.
