The Midwest Wrestling Alliance is a regional backyard wrestling alliance in Midwestern United States. This alliance currently consists of six federations, three from Illinois, two from Indiana, and one from Ohio. These are all states within the United States, thus GBYWN United States Champion Rad Hazard dominantly reigns over the entire alliance.

History
The MWA was created by Indiana wrestler The Prototype as a facebook group for Midwest wrestlers. Under the MWA name The Prototype hosted the first MWA show in Indiana on April 23, 2011. At this show the team of General Joe, Jason Witzel, and The Prototype (The UnKnown) became the first ever MWA Tag Team Champions. The next two shows are set to take place on May 28th and 29th in Indiana.
