The Midwest Wrestling Alliance is a regional backyard wrestling alliance in Midwestern United States. This alliance currently consists of four federations, two from Illinois and two from Indiana.

History

The MWA was created by Indiana wrestler The Prototype as a facebook group for Midwest wrestlers. Under the MWA name The Prototype hosted the first MWA show in Indiana on April 23, 2011. This show crowned the first two champions in the MWA.
