Baltimore Elite Wrestling Alliance is a backyard wrestling federation that formed in 2009 and is based in Baltimore, Maryland. As of April, 2011, it is a thriving, successful fed, with 2 brands, and a huge roster of wrestlers representing Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia & Delaware.

History
Split from Maryland Underground Wrestling
In 2008, during the Maryland Underground Wrestling process, a huge altercation arose between several members of the federation leading to a split with a majority of the talent following over to new federation, Baltimore Elite Wrestling Alliance. On February 1, 2009, the federation held their first taped event.
Since then, the BEWA has had over 60 shows. They are still going strong. Their next big show is Legacy III, scheduled for May 14th 2011.
