Charles Patterson is the latest in a very long line of pseudonyms used by this practitioner of the black arts. To most of his Regular neighbors he is a charming retired man in his mid-40's with a vaguely European accent. In weirder circles though he is known as a skilled magician for all things related to death and dying. By a quirk of fate he found himself living two blocks down the road from one Miss Althea Gibbons

"Mr. Patterson" holds a degree of unknown equivalence from Scholomance; his favorite vacation memory is a decade spent on the Italian Peninsula in the 14th century.
