Bleep It Out

From Tyler Zahnke

"Bleep It Out" is the name of my third comedy bit. It was written in September of 2010. It was the first comedy bit I did using someone's suggestion. Back in late March of 2010, I received a suggestion to parody "Wait It Out" as "Bleep It Out". The song is all about TV censorship, though the song itself is very clean and family-friendly.

Lyrics

Where do I go from here?
How do I go along?
I can't get beyond the censors.
There is a set of rules
We should be following,
And they are set up by the FCC.
There is a set of rules we should be following.
There is a set of rules we should be following.
Everybody says,
That we need censorship.
Especially on the TV.
They just need to edit it,
Oh, they're just going to bleep it out.
I think I've had enough.
The FCC has our stuff.
Well, they could just simply edit it.
Then it will be on TV,
For everyone to see,
But it will be slightly edited.
There is a set of rules we should be following.
There is a set of rules we should be following.
Everybody says,
That we need censorship.
Especially on the TV,
They just need to edit it,
Oh, they're just going to bleep it out.
Sitting here,
In front of the TV,
Watching episodes of the Simpsons.
Oh, no way.
What did Homer Simpson say?
There is a problem with the guidelines,
With the guidelines that they have.
Ohhhhhh,
Ohhhhhh.
Ohhhhhh,
Ohhhhhh.
Ohhhhhh,
Ohhhhhh.
Ohhhhhh,
With the guidelines that they have.
Everybody says,
That we need censorship.
Especially on the TV.
They just need to edit it,
Oh, they're just going to bleep it out.
Edit it, just going to bleep it out.
Censorship, just going to bleep it out.
Bleep it out.
