Headstrong and diplomatic, but with an overlying tendancy to put herself at risk for her loved ones. She is very considerate and extremely well mannered. Beautiful and eloquent with words and in her mannerisms and grace. Despite being so graceful and charming, she shares her families ability to fight, and the warrior spirit. Devoted to her family and loved ones, she is very caring and kind, but believes in fighting for what matters.

King Meinhard and Queen Griselda's second daughter, she if extremely beautiful and known as such. Having been raised around fighters like her father, and uncle, not to mention the knights of Ainor. She is very energetic and passionate about life and what she believes. She was raised from a young age, by only her father because of the death of the Queen not long after Ulrich was born. She can tend to be a tomboy at times, but still maintains her beauty.
Having spent a lot of time growing up around King Meinhard, and her brother Ulrich, she was able to finally learn how to fight. It took a lot of pleading and innocent faces to the King, but he consented. With all of the knights coming and going, he needed someone he knew a good deal for her to be around. His pick was the young knight, Maddox Reinbecht., who just happened to conveniently be a long time family friend.
Verena was more than happy, training herself diligently, but also starting up a bit more than a friendship with the young knight. This was much to the king's pleasure, as the two got closer and closer. About when Verena was about 16, her sister was married to a lord in Endal's territories. It was only a little longer, that she had to see Maddox leave with Ulrich to command part of the Ainori Army on campaign. This was later met with the young prince fleeing the nation later, to quell his desire to fight.
Her family seemed to be getting thinner and thinner, and it was about the time of Maddox's return, that her uncle, James von Reichter Jr. took advantage of her late in the night when the army was returning. All of the commotion going on, was easy to get the yoing princess unconscious and his deed unnoticed. His timing was planned perfectly, with Maddox returning, nobody would ever know what happened, even as Verena became pregnant.
Rumors exist to the crowned princess's pregnancy, but only the King and immediate sources know the truth of it. It is believed that she became such when Maddox arrived home for the first time in almost a year. The new rumors spreading about, have been of the possible wedding between Verena and Maddox. The excitement of a new crowned prince and stronger family line, is one that is well awaited by the people of Ainor. The hope of an empire rests on a young princess, who must endure not only her father and family in battle, but the consequences of all her loved ones in a world of turmoil still.
