Tuan Virote is not an emotional person. His face usually shows a blank expression. He is not only slow to anger, but he is also rarely seen happy, or even sad. About the only thing that can make Tuan happy is praise from his master, Dai'ka, and one of the only things that makes him angry is when people voice doubts about Dai'ka, or do not respect him. When Tuan is angry he rarely shows it, but he treats the object of his anger coldly, with disdain. He is also heard speaking very rarely. Tuan Virote doesn't often get close to people, probably caused by the fact that he had to raise himself.

Tuan Virote is very tall, even by Kaeldarian standards. He towers over most of his countrymen, however other than his height, he isn't as big as other Kaeldarians. Virote is rather thin, although he is still very strong, able to life heavy tomes and large tools used in his religious ceremonies. Tuan is completely bald, with absolutely no hair on his entire body. He is very dark skinned, like most Kaeldarians, but his body is covered with white tattoos, religious symbols of Dai'ka, some of which are unknown to even the other priests of Dai'ka. He wears nothing but a loincloth, making traveling a lot easier and faster, especially when carrying large tomes, however the runes drawn on his body act as a sort of magical armor, so he isn't completely exposed to attacks. Even though he is extraordinarily tall, and covered in mystic runes, the most strange and amazing part of Tuan Virote is his eyes. Virote's left eye is completely white, and his left eye is a solid black. It is rumoured that his eyes contain some mystic power, but that is unknown. Tuan Virote is almost never heard to speak. He speaks often to Eldred, however when he needs to communicate with his troops or fellow priests, he usually speaks through his apprentice, Gan. The few times he does talk, Tuan's voice is very deep and rich, sounding almost eerily unnatural.

Tuan Virote is the head priest of Dai'ka, as well as his right-hand man. He would follow any order of Dai'ka, and could never imagine disagreeing with him. Although a very important figure of Kaelder, Virote is shrouded in mystery. He appeared almost as soon as Kaeldar broke away from Endal, in the city of Grumaz, known by no one, where he presented himself to his people as an ardent, lifelong worshipper of Dai'ka. The other loyal worshippers of Dai'ka could tell that he was powerful, and saw him as greatly blessed by their god. Eventually, after Tuan had been in Grumaz for a bit, Dai'ka, impressed by Tuan's holiness and fortitude, appeared to him. He granted Tuan with the position of High Priest of Dai'ka, and he gave him the job of being Dai'ka's representative, as Dai'ka did not desire to mingle with his creations, especially the ones that did not worhip him as their god. Tuan Virote later returned to the deep rainforests that he felt were his home, and travelled to obscure villages, along with Gan, a young but fervent monk of Dai'ka, teaching the ways of Dai'ka and training priests who had learned of Dai'ka only from stories passed from their parents and elders. Virote's travels have given many Kaeldarians in very rural locations a better education than they would've recieved. Tuan Virote, after travelling for years, settled down a bit in a village not far from Grumak, still travelling on occasion, but most of his time is spent compiling all the tales and lore he has heard on his travels into a bible of Dai'ka, which he plans to give to present to Dai'ka, asking for his blessing. Although Virote prefers spending time in the jungles, in remote villages, as opposed to larger more civilized cities, he is able to behave quite civilly when in Grumaz or meeting with a foriegn politician.
