An enigmatic person, Amadeus is often referred to as the ‘Oddity of House Amaunros’ due to his being a melee combater from a house of mainly War Magi, behind closed doors of course. Despite this, Amadeus knows fully well how important his War Magi are in battle, and strives to constantly improve both his melee and magic troops equally, showing no personal bias or favoritism. Fiercely loyal to Lequall and the Grand Marshal Argyros Rinovindis, Amadeus is the prime example of what a Lequallian warrior should strive to be. Almost a master of the sword and axe combined, he has formed a reputation amongst various arenas as an unbeatable opponent. Of course, this is against those of lesser skill, usually, and only done when Amadeus is able to dodge his guards and is bored out of his mind, hoping to find some skillful opponent to duel and perhaps recruit. Such is how Amadeus gained his trusted group of 5 tactical commanders. Despite his unorthodox actions and fighting styles, he has been appointed Marshal of House Amaunros for his cunning and popularity amongst his troops, as well as his many contributions to Lequall’s weaponry.
[edit] Appearance
Amadeus is of slightly below average height, at 5'9” without armor. When garbed for ceremonial meetings or the fancier events of the year, Amadeus wears his personally made golden armor with a jet-black undercoat and a crimson sash around his waist representing House Amaunros. His clothing for normal occasions consists of a crimson and black trench-robe with gold trim along with a pair of crimson loose pants. More often than not, this trench-robe is where Amadeus hides the thinner of his two swords, Thanatos, while his broadsword and battle axe remain in holster sleeves across his back. Usually, Amadeus has some type of evidence of his part in creating the various weaponry of Lequall, such as some type of magnifying spectacles or a type of heating rod tucked behind his ear. Across two separate areas on his face are scars, gained from his first Arena battle and a battle against Illyria respectively.
[edit] Biography
Born into House Amaunros, a House that mostly favored War Mages and other magic users, Amadeus quickly set himself apart from the others when he showed immense aptitude for the blade and other such melee weaponry. As he grew older and attended the Agoge, his abilities with non-magic weapons continued to grow and grow even past his graduation. After graduating, Amadeus became an Ephor for the Grand Marshal for a few years, until the former Marshal for House Amaunros’ service ended tragically and he was appointed as Head of House Amaunros, or Marshal Amaunros. After achieving Marshal status, Amadeus immediately began studying up on his House’s War Magi and their strengths and weaknesses. Using that knowledge, Amadeus quickly began involving himself almost completely in his House’s invention center, assisting his people in creating the various weaponry and armor for Lequall. As of the most recent years, Amadeus has focused his attention on the creating for Lequall, something that he has found he enjoys, assisting the Grand Marshal in whatever ways he can, and waging defensive combat against Illyria when necessary.
