Rolf is a fairly tall human, with short, white hair and steel blue eyes. His bangs are longer in front, and his hair is cropped short in the back of his head. He has paper-white, almost sickly pale skin. He wears the typical armor of an Illyrian soldier, having black armor with blood red and silver accents. He also wears black riding gloves and grayish pants with black riding boots. He wears a few bracelets but they are usually hidden underneath his gloves. His left earlobe is pierced once, with a single silver ring. The right one is missing, presumably torn out in some battle.

His childhood was not the best at all; instead, one could say he never had one. His parents didn't care about him at all, and never loved him. He was a bastard child. His parents were never married, and he probably never has met them before that he can remember. Even if he had he never loved them.
Growing up, he lied and stole to stay alive. He was part of a group of young bandits that stole from local merchants near the port cities. However, he soon left, disgusted with their loyalty and love of one another. He couldn't understand how people could like each other. He, of course, never learned basic morals, except what he learned in his life on the street.
He considered becoming a morphomancer after seeing a recruitment poster for the army on a shop window, but instead enlisted in the army as a wyvern rider at the age of 16. He definitely didn't want to be a farmer. It was obvious those people were poor. He figured he'd rather destroy than create, and he wanted to have a better life than he would have if he just lived off the land. He also heard that the soldiers of the Illyrian army got all the action. Since his enlistment he has served in the army for about six years.
