Kendrick has medium-long grayish purple hair, which is tied back. Occasionaly, he'll wear a black hat with a gold trim or have his hair very messy, with a single braided strand going down his shoulder. He has a goldish headband, with two strands of beads, each heading into his hair, connecting with another part of the headband. He wears a black jumpsuit, with a black glove on his left hand. He has a purple chestplate, secured around him with blue colored bands. On his right arm, near his shoulder, is a blue band. He wears a black belt, which can be used for a quiver. His dagger, Dis Pater, is sheathed in a small hunter's knife sheath, which is located on his back.

Kendrick was born in Tavrica. He had a twin sister, named Camma, who usually clung to Kendrick when they were growing up. Thier mother died of an illness, while thier father was killed by a hunter who accompanied him, who was shooting at game when, Ken's father ran into the path and killed, with a bow through the neck. They were both 8 when their father died. Ken and Camma were taken in by a family friend, who happened to be a skilled swordsman. His wife, a great archer. Ken started learning to wield a sword, while Camma learned archery. They kept living there for 6 more years, until on day when the man and wife went on a hunting trip.
Kendrick was 14 at the time. In the middle of the night, a day after their caretakers left, an unknown man barged into his house and attacked them. Kendrick tried to protect his younger sister, but the man knocked him aside, almost knocking him out, and brutally killed her infront of him. The last thing he heard was his sisters screams. A week later, thier guardians returned, found him and nursed him back to health, and Kendrick started to blame himself. He couldn't protect his sister. He was too weak to do anything about it. He wasn't skilled enough. He even thought his weakness made that man attack that night.
A year later, he joined Tavrica's Army, in order to become stronger. He trained for years, and soon, he was able to use swords very well, as well as use bows enough to be somewhat effective in combat. However, in his heart, he believed he was still weak, if not by appearence, his heart was weak. He hasn't killed many men in the years, and he believed he was still weak because of it. Unless Tavrica was to go to war, he'd never become strong enough to beat that man and overcome the feeling of weakness in his heart. He deserted Tavrica, around the same time Duke Cayel exposed Archduke Saenry as a traitor. He went and looked for the Dark Brotherhood, where he may be able to hone his skills, become a more powerful man, and overcome his feelings of weakness.
