[edit] Personality

[edit] Appearance

Eremati looks aged and worn despite his young age. His skin is a dusty tan, for he is a pale man of Lequallian ethnicity. Around his eyes are great circles, rings of black that give away the appearance of hollow eye sockets. His chin is long and bony and his mouth thin. His hair is an almost violet shade of white. It is tied in the back and trails down behind him. His plate armor is a made of a glistening metal. A black cape, torn on the bottom, showing of decay, covers his neck upon which is a chain mail shirt of the same glistening metal. His body is thin and his armor appears not to fit. Death is a dark, demented man, silent when it impacts the most. His cold stare penetrates his victims, whom Death enjoys to prolong the fear of. Instilling fear is his forte. He lives on the screams of terror he hears as he slaughters them and the satisfaction he derives from changing the factors of each death. Death is a cold manipulator of sorts. His followers are few in number, and they are people of all ages and from all walks of life, but there is a price to pay for being his followers as he kills some off for fun.

[edit] Biography

Born the son of Euclid Caethras, a prominent warrior of House Caethras, Eremati was a strong and healthy boy with dark eyes. He was named for these, they were not normal but he would continue to have them for the rest of his life. But he was determined and smart. His parents noted said enthusiasm. He seemed to be a loyal Lequallian boy as entered the Agoge. He trained with boys such as his friends Asclepius Ursivus and Demetrius Calisaea to become a Hoplite. The tightly knit group sometimes trained together to see who was the best. Asclepius usually won. Erebos did not like losing. It made him feel like he was pathetic, and he forcefully trained himself to become better. A few times he beat Asclepius, but those glorious moments were overshadowed by the Hoplite's prowess in future battles. Eremati was disgusted with himself. He was a Lequallian, he should do better. His graduation from the Agoge marked a new era for him, Demetrius and Asclepius joining the Hoplon Guard and himself joining the service of his House. Caethras was one of the only Lequallian Houses known for it's horses. Most Lequallians did not like horses, but Eremati grew fascinated with them and with riding. It remained a concentrated passion of his for the coming years. But amongst his people it was unacceptable. The Lequallians were proud men who loved to fight by foot. He was generally discontent by this fact but tried to accept it. After a battle on the border of Lequall with the filthy Illyrians though, Eremati discovered he had another passion, and it was to kill. He loved the sensation of driving a sword through his enemies. Their squeals of pain were almost like music to his ears. From the battlefield to the house. He could not stop killing. Innocent men fell to his spear. After a few weeks of this, he was discovered, but he was tipped off by an unknown source and left before he could be killed.

He left for Endal, starting a life there among the people of a small village, whom he joyously killed off one by one, taking from one of the stables a horse. That night he became a Paladin, his practice finally paying off. Leaving the village and the stench of the corpses, which he nailed to a massive tree in the middle of the village, he headed north and disappeared into the forests, killing everything and anything that got in his way as he trekked to Cercium. His sword broke here and the Paladin melted it down to make a new one. He refused to use anything that was not crafted of fine Lequall steel. Days after putting the finishing touches on his two new daggers of Lequallian steel Death made it to Cercium. He was able to purchase weapons fashioned of the almost golden metal by using the spoils from his victims. Armed now with fine weapons he left Endal and headed north to Tavrica, and from there to Ainor where he planned to begin a new career.
