A merchant, maritime nation located on the isthmus that separates the two inland seas, Artal is home to the most skilled and wealthiest merchants on the continent. Artal is run by two powerhouses - the Council of Merchants and the Grand Army, although the Grand Army usually has the upper hand. The Chairman of the Council, though, is nominally in charge of the entire country.

Harquebusier
Harquebusiers are balanced soldiers with a slight emphasis on defense and power. The elite soldiers of Artal, Harquebusiers are highly trained and disciplined, and nothing can force them to give way save death.
- Discipline: Harquebusiers are immune to mind-affecting spells and effects like Illusion Dark Magic, Offensive Rings, and Berserk Staves.
