Virginia's Durance was as an Entertainer in the Hall of Endless Shadows, where she was compelled to dance until her feet bled to Lucia's music. Lucia helped her to Escape, and the two returned from Arcadia together. Since then, she has felt that she owes Lucia a debt she can never repay.
Virginia discovered Genevieve upon the latter's return from Arcadia, and the two are currently rooming together - largely because Genevieve fears for Virginia's ability to function in the world outside the Freehold.
Virginia has, in the past, found that her duties within the Freehold required her to treat with the vampire courts. Only the thought of her Keeper and a return to Arcadia frightens her more than her time among the Kindred.
