Genny is a gorgeous young woman in her early 20s at the very oldest, with short auburn hair and hazel eyes. While she wears nice clothes (designer, very stylish), she has the perpetual look of being slightly stoned. Her eyes do not usually focus on anything in particular for very long, and her eyelids are always a little droopy. She is rarely, if ever, seen lying down, and if she is she will be on her stomach. She has very good posture, always sitting up straight, but always on the edge of her chair, never against the back.

The reasons for this become apparent once Genny's Mien is glimpsed; she does not sit back in chair or lie on her back because of a large wind-up key protruding from it. Whenever she is moving, speaking, or otherwise active, the key slowly turns; if she is still or sleeping, it does not. Every so often, she will reach behind herself and wind it; she doesn't think that she'll be paralyzed if it runs down, but she'd prefer not to find out the hard way. She is very protective of the key and won't let just anyone turn it. In her Mien, she still wears her uniform from Faerie; a very tarted-up maid's outfit, seemingly made of the blackest shadows of night itself with frills woven from softest of white cloudstuff. Her glass eyes are wide and attentive, and her permanent smile is warm and inviting.

Having been subservient directly to her Keepers in Faerie for so long, Genny still finds it hard to be anything other than unfailingly polite to a person's face (she may gossip and grump about them later, however). She will have to be told multiple times not to refer to others as "Sir" or "My Lady" or any other such euphemisms, and she is still very uncertain about making eye contact. She is also phobic of blood, having had no blood to bleed herself for a long time.
