At first glance, the only odd thing about this rather adorable brown-furred teddy bear is it's yellow eyes, which glow softly even in bright light. However, these little hedge beasts reveal their true nature when they get up and start walking around. A group of six of them have made the Gatherer's Garden their home, guarded over by the Automaton dubbed the Big Daddy. Although they cannot speak, their eyes and body language can speak novels.
Once in a while, one of these hedge beasts will tug on the pants leg or skirt of one of the patrons and hold their arms open for a hug. Few resist such a display of cuteness and will often scoop up the bear for a quick hug. After doing so, the hugger often feels a comfortable warming sensation fill their body; this masks the fact that a bit of their Glamour has been drained away, stored within the bear itself (ST rolls Dexterity+Larceny; each success equals one point of Glamour drained). At the end of the day, the bears deposit some of the Glamour in tanks designed by Dr. Steinman to aid him in the creation of his tonics; the rest they keep to fuel themselves for the next day.
