~ Count Dracula

Count Dracula is the greatest vampire of them all.

[edit] Origins

Dracula stems back to the Romanian king Vlad Tepes, or the Vlad the Impaler, who would stick the heads of his conquered enemies on pikes and mount the pikes around his castle. He would also drink blood out of skulls. He was given the nickname Dracula, meaning "Little Dragon." When author Bram Stoker decided to write a novel about a vampire, he adopted the name Dracula for his main character. His novel was later made into a stage play, which became a movie.

[edit] (After)life

Dracula is an aristocratic vampires. Dwelling in Transylvania, he lived in Castle Dracula with his wives until he sold it through the real estate agent Renfield and moved to England. There, he met the Harkers, and tried to seduce Mina Harker, but was stopped by her husband Jonathan and the cunning vampirologist, Van Helsing, who saw that he lacked a reflection and pounded a stake through his chest. This was the end of Dracula.
