Character Background
Creator Karyann Rentas cannot remember for the life why she chose Kari to be pregnant. There is a large possibility that there have been external circumstances that influenced her decision. Once she did, she never looked back. Karyann already started vizualizing the personality of Kari's daughter: her mother's beauty with a sharp tongue and firey attitude. Biography
Sakura is the daughter of Tom and Kari Epsilon. She has both Kari's beauty and sweetness, and Tom's spirit and rapid insult ability. There was initial confusion about the paternity of Sakura Mitsurugi, once believed to be the daughter of Kari Shiro and Kaneda Mitsurugi. In a massive twist, Tom Epsilon sneaks in a paternity test in order to find the truth, only to find that the child was his. It is assumed that Kari Shiro had always known, but never wanted to confront her nemesis with such a prospect. One could argue that Sakura brought the two enemies out of their long standing hatred and into blossoming love.
Ever since she was little, she creates strong bonds with people she know and refers to them as "aunt", "uncle", or "cousin"; her parent's families on both sides are all dead. Around the time she was three, she had the first taste of the pain of war when her Godfather (Godpa) Neo and Uncle Xavier died in a grand battle. As she grew, she came to dislike war and always tried to avoid voicing her opinions about the topic. It was tough, especially with her parents were always battling so she always kept busy by playing video games, getting in constant fights at school, and hanging out with her two best friends Otaru and Meiko.
As tensions between the HSA and UEG grew, she could not ignore the events that took place. She worried about the welfare of her parents and was relieved when they came home. In the time before leaving the system she met Fifty and Suffer, whom she felt a familiar connection with and instantly liked them. She also lost Otaru and Meiko after Earth was attacked and destroyed.
She also met the incredibly eccentric Ryan Robert Langdon, who wanted to be her father's apprentice. In the two years time, they became (somewhat) friends. She affectionately refers to him as "Ryan-baka".
Her newtype powers were pretty strong at birth, but declined as she grew. She sporadically trained with her mother, and feels she doesn't par up to the strength of her parents. She still prefers to have fun rather than study and sometimes still get into trouble. However, her girlish charms enables her to get out of (almost) any situation.
