Apphillians

From Eshraval Saved

Aphilians have, at one time or another, ruled most of Eshraval. Either through direct control and domination or through indirect administration, Aphilian nations have expanded their influence around the globe over the past five centuries, much to the disdain of most other peoples on the planet.

Aphilians are disliked throughout much of Eshraval, solely for who they are and what their ancestors have done. They are viewed as imperalistic, opportunistic, and above all, cold and callous. Aside from the Draeic peoples of Limorania, the Aphilians have ruled over all of the other major ethnic groups on Eshraval. They were not always kind masters. Both Chari and Neopanic peoples have been enslaved at various times throughout history, and neither people have fully forgotten nor forgiven this transgression, particularly the Chari.

Aphilians have a slightly different take on their contribution to the world and her peoples. They see themselves as a good, moral and just people. While some of their ancestors have done regrettable and evil acts in the past, this is in no way an indictment of the entire Aphilian people. Aphilians take comfort in the fact that it was they who brought education, government, and civility to the rest of Eshraval.

Aphilians are innovators, creators, and producers. They have, throughout history, led the way in many of Eshraval's most important discoveries and scientific breakthroughs. As a whole, they are the most prosperous and wealthy people on the planet. They are technologically advanced and have provided more for world aid than any people at any time in history. Today, they do as much good as they can for the world, even if some of it comes from a feeling of guilt for their collective past.
